So what's this game about?
The "Teachers of Philly" is a comic book/game created in response to school closings, educational programs being cut and thousands of school teachers across the United States being laid off due to massive budget deficits.
So why is it called, "The Teachers of Philly"?
Well every comic book/game needs a great story line or plot. The team at Gamemian Studios (www.gamemian.com) spent many hours on research, checking all the local media outlets and honestly a lot of late night goggling. We looked at all the major cities like New York, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The educational system of Philly just kept jumping out at us so we went with Philly.
So what's the point of the game?
It's our vision at Gamemian Studios that this game will provide some laughs and hours of fun, along with an appreciation for teachers. Also we hope it will promote creativity in those who enjoy it. Are the characters real drawings of teachers?
Yes some of the drawings are actually teachers. Are you a teacher? Want to be in our next game? Drop us a line.
Hard to control characters?
If you're on a moving level touch and swipe on the screen not the character. Touching the character fires their weapon, it doesn't make them move. If you're on a throw level touch the character and pull back to firer.
My app keeps crashing?
Please try restarting the device. Also make sure all background app (e.g. like safari) are off while playing.
